After much searching for a firmware update to the German made DK digital DVD/DivX player 915, i finally found the firmware files posted on a german website! Just updated the firmware this afternoon and the player now has better support for divx files and especially subtitles in the .sub format.
The firmware was hard to find .. and can be found here :

It's the same firmware as the DK 339. Tested and working!
The update instructions are included in the download file. Hope this is useful for anyone out there with the great 915 player.
